Deception, Distraction & the Voice of God

“In ancient days past, My people would consistently turn away from Me and give their attention to other things. They would make gods for themselves and lust after the things of this world. They felt that things could be better and easier for them if they blended in more easily with their surroundings.

This is a deception and one that is even more prevalent today than it was before. Men continue to manufacture their own distractions in the name of progress and convenience, they continue to produce item after item that will supposedly ‘make life easier’. Nothing under the sun makes life easier says God, except to walk righteously with Me. To follow My commands and keep counsel with My Spirit. This makes life easier, because with it comes purpose, eternal significance and even rewards. 

The inventions of man can be of benefit if used in connection with your divine purpose. Be warned though, if all you use them for is to satisfy the lusts of the flesh more readily, you become the author of your own misfortune. Excess in any regard is a fruit of satisfying the lusts of the flesh and will keep you from the blessings. 

The most powerful tool available for those pursuing good health is My Word says God. The most powerful tool for those seeking wisdom and peace in relationships is My Word. For those seeking success in business, My Word. 

I gave you My Words as the living life-source, the answer to every conceivable question, the ultimate infallible instruction manual, the final authority. You can only rightly understand it through the revelation illuminated by My Spirit. To read the Word in the absence of the Spirit is like putting a spoon into an empty bowl and attempting to feed yourself.

All who know Me have access to My Spirit says God, but We will only work with those that ask and who are prepared to subdue the flesh through prayer. Subdued flesh produces humility and humility provokes the flow of the Spirit and makes the way for the soul to hear the truth in My Word. Creating worldly success of no eternal significance is a question of doing more work. Righteous success bearing fruit for eternity is a question of doing more Word”.
