When you are confronted by your lack of consistency on a daily basis, it creates one of two scenarios; either a person enters into denial, discontinues using the accountability system and reverts to the old way of doing things, or are they wake up and apply themselves more diligently and press on to a new level of excellence. It is decided by the response.
The flesh, that old wineskin, will scream its protests and cling desperately to any glimmer of an opportunity to revert to the old system. It is therefore essential to take dominion over the flesh at the spiritual level, discard that old wineskin and fill the new one with new habits, new levels of faith and obedience and a new zeal for excellence. It is essential that you do it this way, because you cannot stretch that old skin any further, it will tear and split forcing you to start over.
Do not succumb to the worries of this world. Be confident in your faith and keep striving for excellence in all you do. You cannot live a supernatural life unless you have a faithful expectation that things will happen for you in a supernatural way. Why do people pray for miracles and then act totally surprised when they happen?
You are having discussions regarding your purpose again. It is important for you to get a clear picture of it so that you can measure everything you do to make sure it is congruent with that purpose before embarking upon the action. If an idea or action was to take you away from your purpose to any degree, why would you even waste time considering it?
Write out a definition of your purpose so that you can feel connected to it and you can burn the image of it into your soul so that you become that purpose.
Be focused and be sure to be like minded and work together, your only hope is as a focused team.
If unity were unimportant, it would be easy to attain. The enemy’s greatest fear is to see My chosen children unified in spirit and soul and walking in righteousness, with clarity of purpose, their faith going before them, crushing any obstacle! That is why he constantly strives to subvert your unity and you have to be alert to these plans and be overcomers.
