“Righteousness and the flesh are like oil and water says God. They do not mix! If one is in ascendancy, the other is suppressed, there is no other possibility. To walk righteously requires the constant suppression of the flesh which is only achieved through My Spirit says God. For the measure of My Spirit to grow within you, it has to be fed and nurtured.
There is only one food for My Spirit and that is My living Word, the sustenance of all life. Without the truth of My Word, everything righteous would die.
The Word contains everything pertaining to life and righteousness and also reveals the plan of the enemy. It is impossible to walk in the supernatural realm without the protection of My Spirit.
To know the absolute power of that protection requires faith and ‘faith comes by hearing and hearing by the Word’. The more you absorb the truth, the stronger and more confident you will become.
The Word brings authority, discernment, wisdom and righteousness. When these are all in perfect balance, they will cause a spirit of love to emanate from you that will bless everyone that you come into contact with. People will seek to share this love and every life that is touched will bring glory to My Name.
In order for this to come to pass, you must continue to devour My Word. Let it permeate every fiber of your being, every cell should be alive with the truth of My vibrant living Word. Be aware, this is no small task; this is not about knowing at an intellectual level.
This is about being.
Every thought, every action, every decision, every idea, every conclusion, anything that you write, the words that you speak, must all come from the same perspective.
They must all be illuminated by the glow of righteousness which can only be provided by My Spirit,” says God.
