“Back then to diligence, focus, obedience, all the things that the flesh wants to be opposite to. Unless of course whatever you are doing causes you to be diligently focused and obedient to the things of the flesh. Then watch how easily it all falls into line.
The key is the expected outcome of the effort. Is it fruit bearing of millennial and eternal consequence, or material, fleshly and temporal? Efforts towards the latter are futile says God, they create nothing but straw and his companions.
It appears that you are once again seeking the ‘magic bullet’; the one ingredient that I have kept back from you until this time. There is no such ingredient. You have been in possession of all the tools for quite some time. Tools are of no use to the idle craftsman. A good tool that is used inappropriately will never produce the desired result. The tools also have to be used in the correct sequence. You cannot place the screw first and then drill the hole.
Everything has its proper time, place and application and you must stick to the approved sequences.
Keep being aware of the battle. It is unceasing because you are living in the land of the enemy. If the battle ceases, you have either surrendered or My Son has returned and taken victory.
This is not what the human mind wants to hear. They are mostly waiting for ‘heaven on earth’. That is not an option, so do not waste time or effort in anticipation of it. Keep moving forward in faith.
Maintain an attitude of obedient excellence in all things I have shown you. Subdue the flesh and build up and encourage the Spirit.
You must push through the natural resistance to being righteous, that is always uncomfortable in appearance. However, if you are set apart for long enough, even the things of the world start to feel unnatural and that is your goal.
Pray about every decision before you make the decision says God. Most people fall short in this regard. They make the decision first and then they pray about it and ask Me to bless what they have already decided to do. Of course, if a child asks Me for bread, I do not hand him a rock. My provision is far superior, My plans far more effective than anything that man can conceive”.
