“Shed the cloak of this world utterly and completely. For it is a veil of hypocrisy and lies. The cloak of the world hides the wearer in the shadow of the enemy where My Spirit refuses to dwell. Do not be like the carnal believers and others who remove their cloaks from time to time to ‘enjoy’ a taste of My Spirit. All they are doing is then replacing the cloak again shortly afterward which denies them the opportunity to be fruitful says God.
If you wear the mantle of humility and My full armor, My Spirit will quicken you. These foul garments of the world; lust, pride, material desires above your needs, these are an offence to My Spirit and will keep believers from the fullness of My joy.
Everywhere you look abounds opportunity for you to bear fruit in My name. Just open your eyes, your spiritual eyes and if you also have ears to hear, My instructions will be precise and easy to follow. Most people that do not hear are in that position because they let the noise of this world take precedent in their lives. Shut out the noise of this world by filling your physical bodies with My anointing and the sweet harmony of My Spirit.
Do not look at ‘ministry’ as some kind of outside entity or association that you need to enter into. A true minister of Mine is evidenced solely by his actions, where he spends his time and by the fruit of these actions. As you know, all race runners will cross the line at the same time. It is not a question of being ‘first’ in the race; it is a question of running an effective race. Your form and style are all important as they will reflect your true heart and whether you are committed to your own glory or Mine.
Give no thought to the style of other runners. They are not your concern; you should neither seek to emulate them, nor run behind them, nor judge or criticize them. Spend all of your time perfecting your own race. The more attention you give to this, the more effective your race will be. Study the ‘runner’s guide’, which is My Word, therein lies all the answers you will ever need regarding how to qualify to be a runner, equipping yourself for the race, the training you will need to undergo to be able to produce peak performance and of course the skills you will need to recruit and train others.
There are so few runners in this race in comparison to what should be happening. The hooks of this world are strong and relentless, and My people need help. ‘Revival with purpose’ is required to plant people firmly on the track as race-runners, to equip them with an understanding of the length and difficulty of the course, to equip them through My Word with their ‘running shoes’ and other equipment.
Develop the mindset of the Spirit filled athlete, one who is determined to run his best race and to never quit regardless of the circumstances and to be an overcomer and a victor in My name. This will not be an easy path, but take comfort in the support and encouragement of My Spirit and the enabling power of My anointing, for this work is precious to Me. I will be your strength, stay ever closer to Me and there are no boundaries that we cannot break through”.
