“The worries of the world and the deceitfulness of riches have become your own flag says God. You constantly worry about paying this, and taking care of that, structuring a deal here and a deal there, locking things in, putting things on a secure footing.
These are all terminologies connected to the worries.
Only those embracing the worries will seek comfort in these agreements with men. Are they truly any source of comfort? Has there ever been an agreement in the past that produced any comfort for you? They are only as true as the words on the paper and if they are not My words, then where is the truth?
Doing what you are supposed to do is all that is necessary to produce resources to handle any situation that arises. I have never varied My position. I remain the same, every day all the time. Most of you however are twisting this way and that, trying to get yourselves into the right ‘shape’ to ‘fit’ into the situations that you are busy creating to solve your problem.
The only problem you have is disobedience. There is nothing missing that would keep you from walking in the fullness of your calling, you have it all at your fingertips.
It will never be a question of you needing to be ‘at a certain place’ from a worldly perspective before you can be effective in the Spirit. You can only be effective in the Spirit when you are prepared to leave behind the things of the world.
Entering into the Spirit is just like the eye of the needle. All the worldly perceptions of success and material gain cannot go through.
You have to see that they can play no part in the process. The concept of ‘when I have money I can be a blessing to others’, is just a lie from the enemy. It is a deception because it contradicts My word.
The essence of it sounds like ‘once I have served mammon, then I can serve God’. What nonsense is that? Serve Me first and I will cause mammon to be your servant.
Focus on Me and you will see mammon under your feet. Focus on mammon and all you will see is more mammon and you will surround yourself with his evil cohorts, which will blind you to the truth and keep you from walking in the fullness of your purpose. Thus, the ‘deceitfulness of riches’. See how the ‘worries of the world’ cause you to focus on mammon and so the cycle continues.
The only way to break that cycle is to obediently pursue the things that I have placed in your hands.
‘Seek first the kingdom’ says God. There is nothing that needs to be added. Then your hearts will be filled with the joy that you seek.
Knowing that you are in harmony with My plans and purpose is what brings the hope and the expectation of fulfillment”.
