“I called believers to love each other as brothers and sisters. I called husbands to love their wives with the same love that My Son loves you. Easy words to read, but how ready are you to implement them?
As a believer, are you ready to consider how decisions you make and actions you take are going to affect your fellow believers, before you think about how it affects you? How many people do you know that give that level of consideration to others? Do you think and act that way?
Would the world look different if people behaved that way? Just think about that for a moment. We talk about helping others to develop the ‘mind of Christ’. What does that really mean? Let us look at adopting the mind of Christ for just one full day and consider the implications:
You awake in the morning and like any child you have a yearning to get into the presence of your Father. You crave to hear His voice, to be comforted by His loving arms, to see Him gazing lovingly and approvingly at you. You long to hear what exciting things He has planned for you today (there is a powerful message here)
Once you have fed upon the strength of your Father, you are ready to face the day. Now remember, every thought that you permit to be formed into a word and be spoken out, has to be something that will be of benefit to someone or something other than you.
Every thought that you allow within you to produce an action has to be carried out in a way that will be a blessing to someone else and bring glory to My name only.
How easy is this sounding?
Maybe do not attempt a whole day at the beginning, try half a day or even just an hour. This is the true path to righteousness, or ‘enlightenment’ as the new age people would like to call it.
True enlightenment can only come through knowing My mind and My plan for your life first and then through diligent effort and sacrifice, pursuing the application of it in your own life.
Only through applying the ‘Christ mindset’ can one ever fulfill the instructions regarding love that I gave says God.
To attempt to love someone that you do not even like through your rational human mind is foolish. The human mind is inextricably married to the flesh and always will be. That is why it is so important to learn how to quiet that part of yourself.
By doing so, it becomes possible to start thinking through the Spirit that I have placed within you. The Spirit that can communicate directly with the mind of Christ, the Risen One, who after all, left it with you for that purpose.
If we follow through the implications of this, it is a perfect illumination of the path to righteousness. You must first quiet and control the natural mind.
This will allow your spirit mind to have a direct channel of communication. At this point your thinking will be pure, anointed and Spirit powered. This alone will give you the capacity for the love that I call every person to demonstrate.
Can you now see the true power in that commandment regarding love? If My sheep follow just that one thing properly, the entire world would be a completely different place and My Son could return tomorrow.
When you ask yourself the question ‘How can I love people in the way God wants?’ You know that it is impossible to do with a worldly mindset. The answer therefore is only by developing the mind of Christ can you learn to love like We love.
It is likely that as a child you spent hours listening to your earthly father, watching the way that he did things. What effect did that have on you? Do you think that you have developed a similar mindset to him? How would any other outcome be possible other than you thinking and doing many things in exactly the same way that your father does.
The Wisdom in My Word has an even more profound and lasting effect. I know that should be obvious but if it is so obvious why is it not taught in schools and churches? It seems that they have overlooked the significance of My wisdom.
People talk about attaining to righteousness but have missed the point that true righteousness is impossible in the absence of the mind of Christ. You cannot win the heart of the Father, except through the Son. The objective is to develop the ‘Mind of Christ’, the new mind placed in you by the anointing of the Spirit.
Every new believer receives this gift, it is up to each of you to develop it. Just like the natural carnal mind, it can only be developed by using it consistently and effectively.
The error for most is that they try in vain to change their earthly carnal mind and make it into the mind of Christ. This is not going to happen.
The correct path is to subdue the carnal mind, to keep the flesh under and allow the Spirit in you to gain the ascendancy. This then makes it possible for you to walk in the worldly realm and at the same time, to think with the mind of Christ at a supernatural level.
Once you embark on this path, you have to ‘burn the boats’, there can be no going back to the old way. If you think that maybe you would like to ‘give it a try’, you should not even start. This is the very ‘narrow way’ spoken of in the Word.
This is more than a ‘what would Jesus do’ bracelet and then living no different to before. Just one person pursuing this path would have a positive impact on the lives of thousands of others. It is a life work, a race that never ends. Those that pursue this righteousness will see the world as never before. The perfections will override the imperfections.
Learn to see the truth, speak the truth and be the truth in every situation. If you do not instantly love someone you meet, whose mind are you thinking with? Or worse are you thinking at all?
Is it possible for anyone to completely develop the mind of Christ? Of course not, for this would make that person the same as Christ which is of course impossible. It is however both possible and acceptable to become ‘Christ-like’.
Our overall objective is therefore both simple and very challenging. To empower a vast army to prepare the earth for the return of Christ, to make His transition from the heir-apparent to the King of Kings.
It has not proven possible to do this by shepherding people along as they stumble around hoping to find good in an evil world. It has not proven possible through developing man’s wisdom and preaching messages of prosperity as though more material success will bring someone closer to Me.
It has not proven possible by the development of so many religious groups who cannot agree with each other on major issues and minor issues alike. When people start learning directly through My Spirit and hearing My voice clearly through My prophets, calling them to be accountable for their own reality, there will be a great shaking in this world and a transformation will take place among the believers that will herald the completion of the preparation of the Bride”.
