“Be aware of the spirit of mammon and continue to remove his hooks by ardently pursuing the things that will remove you from the world’s monetary system. It is through that system of credit and debt that he gains control over so many. You can escape by following My financial principles and then you can teach others the way out. Be in great anticipation, for this will be a notable victory.
You have to create the life that is right for you, says God. That can only be based upon the plan that we have created together in pursuit of your purpose. Nothing that you do or decide can be based upon what other people want, do, or expect. This is the route that leads people astray. They embark on someone else’s path and it leads them so far away from their own purpose, they end up getting lost.
You have to stop vacillating around your decisions. Once you have embarked upon a course of action, you cannot suddenly change direction, just because the ‘next big thing’ comes into view. Life is a constant procession of new things and new opportunities and it is impossible to maintain progress and focus if you allow yourself to be continuously distracted.
Focus! Yes, there are many excellent opportunities to which you can apply your gifts and talents, but rather be excellent at one than average at two or mediocre at more! You must have a plan and then seal yourself off from the distractions. If you know exactly what seeds you are planting every single time, you will know what harvest to expect. There will be challenges so you need focused faith and to expect that the results will come.
Always be allowing and never forcing. Expect abundant and sudden breakthroughs. Remember that every miracle happens because someone asks for it and expects that it will happen.
The subject of taking oaths, making promises and signing written contracts or agreements is of considerable seriousness says God. If any such agreement puts you into the service of mammon, it must be avoided at all costs, for to serve mammon automatically removes you from My service and therefore from the fullness of My blessings. As it is written, ‘Man cannot serve both God and mammon. My servants must make their contracts only with Me. Their agreements must only be in connection with their service to Me, otherwise they will no longer be serving Me because they have agreed to serve someone else.
If they are not serving Me, they have to be serving mammon by default. There are only two choices, to serve Me or to serve mammon”.
